What is fever

what is fever?

We get it because of climate (probably mean weather) change. We get fever due to cold weather. We hang out in winter, eat ice cream. This is the body's natural defense mechanism. To fight the disease, your blood will start circulating, which increases the body temperature. So we all have fever at some point or the other. But before you take your medications...and think about taking Paracetamol or Cronin, let's understand what a fever is and why do we get it?Even though the outside temperature changes from time to time, but the internal temperature of our body remains fairly constant. Our internal body temperature remains around 37 °C or 98.6 °F.But sometimes this internal temperature rises by a few degrees. We feel cold, shiver and feel sick.It is usually caused by a high temperature (fever) infection. But diseases like cancer, heat stroke etc can also cause fever. In this we will not discuss those reasons. Therefore, whenever we feel that we have got a fever and are feeling sick, we use a thermometer.Thermometer is a device that enables us to measure the internal temperature of our body.On normal days, this temperature fluctuates by a degree or two.

But we call it a fever only when the temperature rises above 38°C or 100°F.But now you must be thinking…why is our internal temperature really rising? Many people think of fever as a disease...but this is not true.Fever is actually a symptom of an underlying disease. In fact, fever is our body's way of helping. Now you must be thinking how?The answer to the question lies in understanding our immune system.is the ability of our body Immunity to protect us from diseases. Our immune cells fight to keep disease-causing microbes (germs)us from getting sick.Indeed, raising body temperature helps in the fight against these pathogens. Many bacteria and viruses are intolerant to this high temperature. Also, according to a recent study, it has also been found that high internal temperature also increases the number of certain immune cells. From research studies new and old,we can be sure that FEVER is our body's way of fighting disease-causing disease. In most cases, the fever lasts only for 2 - 4 days.Since we sweat a lot in fever...and lose a lot of water from our body,we are advised to drink more water than usual, and we should take rest.A mild fever usually doesn't require medications, but many people take a pill when they feel a fever. These drugs have their own side effects, and taking them on a regular basis is not a good idea.If your fever is really high, and most importantly, you are feeling quite ill.So it is better to see a doctor and take only prescribed medicines. So, in this whole video we came to know that fever is not actually a disease...rather it is the underlying mechanism of our body which helps us to fight against the disease. And if you have any other questions like this that you would like us to answer,...

A person is different when he goes to sleep and after he wakes up. There is one more thing in addition to resting which increases more after we wake up in the morning.  The smell of our mouth.
